A few of the most popular databases are listed here. Please contact us if you need help.

Using These Resources

You can use these resources inside the library, at home, or on your mobile devices. Most of these databases require a Clayton County-issued library card number when accessing them outside of the library buildings.

ImmigrationHelp.org is a nonprofit that provides free immigration services for Work Permits, DACA, and Citizenship.

Once you click yes, it will ask you to search for your library.

Type “Clayton County” in the search box and click on the magnifying glass to begin the search

“Georgia Download Destination Clayton County Library System” should pop up as an option. Click on it.

That takes you to the GADD homepage (See below)

Scroll down until you see Universal Class “Extras” (See screenshot)


Click “Get”. This will take you to next steps for signing up for access.

GALILEO, also known as Georgia’s “Virtual Library,” provides access to over 100 research databases that include magazine and newspaper articles, online books, scholarly reports, government documents, historical records, and more for researchers and students on a wide variety of topics.

The password to the GALILEO databases changes every few months. If you know your PINES password, you can log in to your PINES Account and click the GALILEO Link in the bottom right hand corner of the page. You may also call us at any of our branch locations during business hours for assistance.

Use this link to log into the main GALILEO page. Use the tabs to search or browse by subject, by type of publication, by the name of a particular database, or by the name of a particular magazine.

Online resources, tutorials, and practice tests for official exams such as the SAT, GED, ASVAB, Firefighter, Police Officer, U.S. Citizenship, Postal Worker, Cosmetology, Job & Career Accelerator, Real Estate Exams, and more.
