Come make an eco-friendly , high-art collage!
Bring in any old magazines, newspapers, or any other paper or thin cardboard material with words and pictures, then use them to help us create a masterpiece of found art.
All materials brought in for this project will be recycled or used for future library programs after your collage is finished.

Thomas Suarez: A 12-year-old "app" developer.  Most 12-year-olds love playing videogames -- Thomas Suarez taught himself how to create them. After developing iPhone apps like "Bustin Jeiber," a whack-a-mole game, he is now using his skills to help other kids become developers.
 
 
Arthur Benjamin: "Mathemagician” In a lively show, mathematician Arthur Benjamin races a team of calculators to figure out 3-digit squares, solves another massive mental equation, and guesses a few birthdays. How does he do it? Watch & he’ll tell you!

Teenage science in action at TEDxWomen 2011. Three teenage scientists share the discoveries that helped them sweep the Google Science Fair. 13-year-old Lauren Hodge uncovers the truth about grilled chicken: it may not be as nutritious as you think. Shree Bose exposes the possible resistance of chemotherapy by ovarian cancer.
