Hotspot Borrowing Policy
The Clayton County Library System provides T-Mobile CoolPad Surf Hotspot devices for use with patron’s personal devices. By using this T-Mobile CoolPad Surf Hotspot, the patron acknowledges that they are subject to and agrees to abide by the Library’s Internet Policy. Wireless Hotspots are portable, rechargeable devices that allow you to connect to your own laptops, smartphones and tablets to the internet for free, whether you’re at home or on the road.HOTSPOT USE
The Clayton County Library System offers Internet access to more effectively meet the educational, information, and recreational needs of Library patrons. Use of the Internet for illegal purposes is expressly forbidden, in accordance with applicable legal statutes. The Library assumes responsibility only for the content of its own homepage and for accompanying pages within the Library’s website.
The Clayton County Library System is not responsible for information accessed using this device or for personal information shared over the Internet. Hotspot users are encouraged to follow safe Internet practices.

F.A.Q.
- No. Hotspots must returned inside the branch it was checked out from. For example, a hotspot checked out at Lovejoy cannot be returned to the Morrow library. Hotspots returned in book drops or the automatic sorter may be subject to fines/fees.
- Hotspots check out from all six of the library branches the during operating hours.
- No. There is no charge to check out a hotspot.
- No. Only residents of Clayton County and those residents who have a Clayton County issued PINES card may check out a mobile hotspot at this time.
