A forum for Clayton County nonprofit organizations to learn about
upcoming funding opportunities for collaborative proposals supporting access to healthcare in Clayton County.

In 2015, Kaiser Permanente of Georgia and the Community Foundation partnered on research around current critical needs in Clayton County and learned that access to healthcare is a key issue for local residents.

As a result, the Community Foundation’s Clayton Fund announces a one-time collaborative grantmaking opportunity for nonprofit organizations based in Clayton County working to address and improve access to healthcare outcomes in the county. In selecting a project(s) for funding, the Clayton Fund will place a priority on supporting non‐traditional and cross-sector collaborations working together to address access to healthcare challenges in Clayton County in new or enhanced ways. Priority will be given to proposals that target vulnerable populations, particularly low-income individuals and families and the uninsured.

Before submitting proposals and solidifying partnerships, community stakeholders and nonprofit groups are encouraged to attend these information sessions to learn about the issue of access to healthcare, discuss prototypes and best practices and solidify ideas in order to submit strong responses to an upcoming request for proposals (RFP).

Coaching will be available to all participants to help promote collaboration and partnership building among different stakeholders during these three in-person meetings.
